1. Program Requirements

You are enrolled in a full time learning institution

or

You are committed to a long term formal internship or apprenticeship.

Artworks must be for sale.

2. How to Submit

Student Art Exhibition Program

There is no fee to submit.

Submit one to three artworks to be considered for a group show.

Submit six artworks to be considered for a solo show.

2D works (including digital) maximum measurement is 36 x 36 inches, not including the frame.

3D works (including digital) maximum measurement is 36 x 24 x 24 inches.

5. How we decide

Student Art Exhibition Program

Submissions are reviewed by Canal Street Art Gallery’s Artist Advisory Board.

Only complete applications are considered.

Student Art Exhibition Program

Accepted artworks are curated together as a group with other artists. 

If accepted, you are scheduled for one out of the ten months following the deadline you submitted for.

6. What happens if your work is accepted

Student Art Exhibition Program

You will be notified of acceptance or invited to submit again by email within two weeks of the submission deadline.

Artists are only offered one option for a month to exhibit.

A delivery appointment will be made at the time of your acceptance email.

Please frame and wire all 2-D work.

Please provide included bases or special displays for 3-D work.

7. Promotional agreement

Student Art Exhibition Program

There is an exhibition fee of $18 per artwork accepted.

All artwork must remain on display for the entire show.

All artwork will be showed at Canal Street Art Gallery in Bellows Falls, Vermont.

Commission paid to Canal Street Art Gallery on all sales is a discounted rate of 30%.
